Heather Walton Pottery
Situated on the Ards Peninsula, County Down, idyllic rural setting situated between Strangford Lough and the Irish coast is where Heather Walton  produce their beautiful pots.
Each piece is hand thrown on the potters’ wheel and hand finished, then decorated using intricately cut sponges, which are hand painted with brushstrokes of colour, which are blended to produce the soft tones of a watercolour when applied to the clay surface.
The pots then receive two firings; the final glaze firing at 1200c produces a crystal clear hardwearing finish.
